Notwithstanding any other provisions of this code, any person violating any provisions of this chapter shall be guilty and punishable as provided in Chapters 1.16 and 1.17 SCC of either an infraction or a misdemeanor as the Sierra County District Attorney deems appropriate. Each such person shall be charged with a separate offense for each and every day or portion thereof during which any violation of this chapter is committed, continued or permitted.
