Members of the Commission shall not be compensated for their services, except they may be paid actual and necessary cost of transportation for attending meetings and reasonable expenses incurred in discharging other official responsibilities as authorized by the Commission bylaws, which shall be approved by the Board of Supervisors. Reimbursements for costs and transportation shall be subject to those limits and procedures as may apply to county officers and employees.
