No building permit shall be issued for the erection or use of any structure or part thereof or for the use of any land which is not in accordance with the provisions of this title, except where a variance or a special use permit has been allowed by the Planning Commission, in which case the Building Inspector may issue a permit, sufficient to allow such work as so authorized by said variance or special use permit in accordance with whatever conditions as may be attached, providing such permit shall not be issued until all time limits for appeal have been exhausted and no appeal has been filed. Any permit issued contrary to the provisions of this title shall be void. (Ord. 409, eff. 7/5/73; Prior code § 86212(A))
